Gas prices slipped across Arizona and the nation this week, and tepid demand and stable oil costs may cause pump prices to slide further, .
The statewide average gas price dropped about 3 cents in a week to $3.46 per gallon of regular on Friday, while the national average fell about 2 cents to $3.43 per gallon.
°µÍø³Ô¹Ï's average gas price was down nearly 4 cents on the week at $3.42 per gallon.
The West Valley in the Phoenix metro area had the state's lowest average gas price at $3.40 per gallon, while Scottsdale had the highest at $3.58 per gallon.
Demand for gas edged up this week but was relatively flat, and oil prices moderated after a jump early in the week, AAA said.
